Battle Through The Heavens Year Series EP101: Xiao Yan upgraded to Dou Zong iin the Blood Pool of the Heaven Mountain and found Elder Yao

After passing the trial of the Heaven Mountain, Xiao Yan arrived at the Heavenly Mountain Blood Pool along with Feng Qing'er, Nalan Yanran, and others. 

Due to Nalan Yanran's weaker strength and the limited spots for soaking in the Blood Pool, she encountered provocation and threats from other contestants. 

At a crucial moment, Xiao Yan stepped forward to protect Nalan Yanran from harm. The arrogant Feng Qing'er, having just finished an argument with Mu Qingluan, began to mock Xiao Yan.

Upon Jin Shi's announcement to enter the Blood Pool, everyone rushed in quickly, competing fiercely to absorb the Energy Crystals. 

While everyone was locked in a fierce battle for the crystals, Xiao Yan, through some underhand means, directly arrived at the core area at the bottom of the pool, enjoying exclusive experience akin to having a private room. As Xiao Yan absorbed all the Energy Crystals, the others, unable to withstand the Fire Poison's erosion, chased after him to the bottom but were forced to retreat.

 Though not participating in the scramble, Nalan Yanran, being the weakest, was the first to succumb to the Fire Poison and escape from the Blood Pool.

After more than two months of cultivation in the Blood Pool, Xiao Yan successfully broke through to the Dou Zong level. With his enhanced strength, Xiao Yan immediately sensed the presence of Elder Yao through his soul imprint. He successfully met Elder Yao, who was imprisoned by the Hall of Souls, and had a brief conversation with him.

 Despite enduring much suffering, Elder Yao's existence remained a tremendous source of inspiration for Xiao Yan. To fulfill his promise to Jin Shi, the leader of the Gold Swallowing Mouse Tribe, Xiao Yan began helping Jin Shi purge the Fire Poison from his body.
